On Church Together Sundays, we hold age-appropriate and Christ-centered services for ages 2 months - 5th grade. We meet at Carlynton School District at 10:00 AM, but it may be helpful to arrive a bit before 10:00 to check your child in.

As soon as you arrive, follow the Hill City signage to enter near the Carlynton High School auditorium. You’ll see the check in area straight ahead, as you can see in the picture! If your child is in 5th grade or younger, please meet a Hill City Kids leader at the high-top tables, in front of the Hill City Kids banner to get checked in. Here your child will be given a name tag that they must wear the entire service. If in the toddler or nursery, be sure their tag goes on their back. Please ask for an additional tag for any items or diaper bags they may bring back with them. Please also let our team know of any special needs or allergies. You’ll also be given a parent-pick up tag. Please keep this tag safe and always present it when it’s time to pick up your child. Be sure that your child has had a good breakfast, and it may also be a good idea for them to use restroom prior to going back to their classroom. Can’t wait to see you here!

ELEMENTARY (KINDERGARTEN - FIFTH GRADE)

In our Elementary room, our team intentionally aims to cultivate meaningful Christ-centered relationships with every child who comes through our doors. Whether it’s playing connect four, or asking meaningful discussion questions, we strive to create a clean, safe and fun environment for kids to learn about and experience the love of Jesus.

MINISTRY GOAL

Bring the Bible to life through creative storytelling and interactive learning activities. Create a safe place for children to express their faith and feel comfortable asking questions. Foster a love for Jesus and desire to pursue Him.

SERVICE ELEMENTS

Prior to service, children can enjoy activities such as Jenga, drawing, basketball, checkers, connect four, and more. Our service includes games, praise and worship, memory verse, reciting our declaration, and lesson. Each service we have a friendly competition where kids can gain points for their team through games, remembering the bible verse, remembering the rules, and paying attention to details during the lesson. The winning team each week will win a prize, but every kid may also take a piece of candy at parent pick-up.

PRESCHOOL (AGES 3 TO 5 YEARS)

In our preschool room, our team does so much more than childcare - they plant seeds of God’s love and truth in the hearts of little ones! When we help preschoolers feel safe and loved, we lay a foundation where their faith can take root and grow. Whether it’s guiding and directing play, or teaching the Bible lesson in words our preschoolers can understand, we aim to provide an atmosphere that gives preschoolers the opportunity to learn about and connect with Jesus.

MINISTRY GOAL

Make the Bible fascinating for our preschoolers through interactive and engaging story-telling. Facilitate natural developmental skills through hands-on activities and play.

SERVICE ELEMENTS

Our preschoolers will enjoy hands-on free-play through building blocks, crafts, drawing, and various toys. Preschoolers will also engage in an age-appropriate lesson as well as praise/worship. Our team briefly discusses the lesson using terms our preschoolers can relate to and understand. Snack is also provided.

NURSERY (2 MONTHS - 2 YEARS)

From the infant who joins us in Nursery, all the way up to a child graduating into Hill City Students, we are committed to creating a safe environment for children to grow each Sunday. We firmly believe that babies and toddlers are not too young to start learning about God’s love for them. Our nursery leaders are prepared, clean, competent and caring, and exhibit Christlike patience and love. Whether it’s playing with blocks or praying over each child, our team provides a nurturing and safe environment for all our little ones.

MINISTRY GOAL

Introduce faith to babies and toddlers through play, music, movement, and simple songs. Children learn that church is a safe and welcoming place.

SERVICE ELEMENTS

Our babies and toddlers enjoy free play in a clean play pen filled with age-appropriate toys and activities. Our leaders integrate biblical truths with our little ones through play and through singing. Easily dissolving puff snacks are provided for babies six months or older (unless otherwise noted by parent).
