Frequently Asked Questions

Where do I go when I get there?

If you want to see EXACTLY where to go, watch the video above. It shows you what doors to come in, where we have service, where the bathrooms are, where to check your kids in at, and more! There are also signs and people that will help point you in the right direction.

What will service be like?

Our service follows a 4D structure. First, we Delight in the Lord through worship. Then, we Discover more of Jesus through a sermon. Next, we oftentimes break into discussion groups for a few minutes to apply the sermon to your lives. Last, we Deploy into the week with a closing prayer. Also, after worship, there are announcements and our “Minute Mingle.” We take one minute to intentionally connect with and say “hi” to those around us. On your first visit, expect to be greeted by a few folks during the Minute Mingle!

What is your worship like?

We have a contemporary style of worship with a full band. On the last Sunday of each month is “Acoustic Sunday” where it is just one or two people and instruments. On Acoustic Sundays, we also take communion and have prayer partners.

Are there services for kids or teens?

Yes! Every Sunday during service, we have Hill City Kids ministry for ages 0-5th grade. Babies and toddlers have one class and the all other kids have their class. Within the kids class, we break kids into three groups based on age for three rotations—lesson time, snack time, and gym time.

For our teens, we have youth Sundays on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of every month. They join the adults for worship, then head to their own class for their lesson and discussion.

What should I do if it’s my first time visiting?

If it’s your first time visiting, our pastors and team would love to meet. At the end of service, come to the back left side of the auditorium by the screen, where there’s “New Here” sign, so we can get to know you! Also, be sure to fill out a Connect Card. We’ll help you with next steps like attending The Point class where you can learn more about Hill City, our team, and how to get involved.

What do I wear?
